From 22 to 29 August, THE ARTIST CHAMBER Talent Competition returns for the second time, presenting hundreds of paintings, graphic works, sculptures and photographs in a free exhibition spanning more than 700 square metres. And there is more to do than simply admire the works: the exhibited pieces are available for purchase, allowing visitors to directly support emerging artists.
The entries will be judged by Eszter Csurka, János Eifert and Márton Takáts, while the award winners will have the opportunity to present their work in a solo exhibition at K Gallery in Budapest from 2–11 September. The audience also has a say: the winner of the Audience Award will be decided by votes cast both at MOM Park and online.
This year’s exhibition also features works by well-known ambassadors, including Damien White, Krisztián Gergye, Dr. Sándor Kürti, Győző Szabó, Szilvia Péter Szabó and Zsófia Tarján. As a new addition, the programme will also include online and projected sections, giving artists living far from Budapest or abroad the opportunity to showcase their work.
