Science Fiction and Fantasy Literature Roundtable Discussion

We warmly recommend the GABO Publishing Group’s upcoming roundtable discussion to all book enthusiasts, taking place on April 24 at 6:00 PM in CinemaMOM, Auditorium 1 — with a focus on science fiction and fantasy!

The GABO Publishing Group is preparing an exciting event for lovers of literature, particularly fans of the science fiction and fantasy genres, who can look forward to engaging and thought-provoking conversations. All interested guests are welcome to join us on April 24 at 6:00 PM in CinemaMOM, Auditorium 1, for the following program:

6:00–6:45 PM — Myth Thieves or Story Weavers: How does fantasy draw on folklore and mythology? The moderator is going to be Csilla Kleinheincz and the participants are Viktor Juhász, Márton Kispál, Tímea Szentirmai-Takács, and Krisztina Timár.

7:00–7:45 PM — Warnings from the Future: How does speculative fiction respond to the problems of the present? The moderator is going to be Gábor Takács and the participants are Zoltán László, Judit Mokos, Veronika Puska, and Mónika Rusvai.

At the end of both discussions, there will be an opportunity to ask questions and have books signed by the authors.

Entry is subject to a fee, which must be paid in advance by purchasing a book voucher via the GABO website. This voucher grants admission to the event and can be fully redeemed at the venue or at the GABO Bookstore. Admission is granted upon presentation of the invoice received with the voucher purchase.
