This December, fans of Hungarian design can encounter Makers’ Market in a new form: for two weeks, a festive pop-up store will welcome visitors on level -1 of our shopping centre, next to Coffee Lenoa. With makers present in person and showcasing their handcrafted, small-batch products, this space will become one of the most inspiring locations of the holiday season.
The first week, between December 9–14, will focus on fashion, jewellery, accessories, and natural beauty products. Among the creators—without claiming to be exhaustive—you will find AGNESKOVACS, hoffmann D’or jewellery, Kamay Ko, Touch Me Not Clothing, the Mama Kin, and Mandragora design. Visitors will thus not only select gifts but also have the opportunity to meet the designers behind the items.
The second week, between December 16–21, will introduce guests to the world of home décor, illustrations, ceramics, textiles, plants, stationery, and curated vintage pieces. The pop-up programme will also feature workshops, including ceramics and jewellery sessions, as well as natural cosmetics making. Thanks to the dedicated gift-wrapping corner, selected presents can be taken home immediately—beautifully packaged and ready for the holidays.
The aim of Makers’ Market is to bring the local design community and its audience even closer during the Christmas season, as the value of a gift is shaped not only by the object itself but also by the creator’s story and the personal encounter that accompanies it.
