NUBU designers have been chosen to create the official dresses of the Hungarian Olympic and Paralympic teams at the 2021 Summer Olympics in Tokyo. Zen and Japanese aesthetics in the Olympic collection have long been a source of inspiration for NUBU and now they also appear in their new autumn-winter collection, marked by the desire to find everyday zen.
The collection also includes Hungarian contemporary art references typical of the brand. The modular constructions of the artist Árpád Forgó and the geometric basic forms appear in the surface structures of the collection and in the edge folds disappearing in the tailoring lines. The creator's color palette, different shades of greens and high-gloss paint-coated canvases also influenced designers. They continue to use more and more innovative textiles this season in the spirit of sustainability, such as recycled mohair wool fur and recycled polyester orcans. The brand always receives a lot of attention for its close relationship between design and modeling, so NUBU pieces can be worn while being novel at the same time.
